# Delivery states and safe retries

Follow a receipt rather than a guess.

## States

Draft is unscheduled. Scheduled/retry is pending delivery. Publishing is claimed for work. Awaiting confirmation is processing or a creator handoff. Published is confirmed. Blocked needs intervention. Uncertain is held to prevent duplication.

## Blocked channel

Resolve permissions, media or provider constraints, then retry only that channel when no publishing receipt exists. Do not repeat the whole multi-channel batch.

## Uncertain publication

Check the original profile and use supported verification controls. Do not assume failure because a request timed out. A provider may have accepted content before the response was lost.

## A recovery example

If one cross-platform destination succeeds and another is blocked, keep the successful receipt. Resolve the blocked destination’s account or content issue and retry only that destination. An uncertain destination must be verified first; it may already have published.

## Information to include in a support request

Include the channel, scheduled time, post ID, displayed state and the provider error text. Include the public post link if one exists. Do not include social access tokens, API secrets, passwords or private media that support does not need.
