Prepare the right content for each channel
Instagram needs media. Pinterest needs supported media, a selected board, a title and a description; an optional HTTPS destination link is shown in the exact preview. Standard access is active for the registered Postroom application, and each connected account still needs valid authorization. TikTok uses the MP4 inbox flow in this connector, and you complete publication in TikTok. Provider permissions and format limits still apply. YET validates each selected account before scheduling.
Use a future time with an explicit timezone. Request a canvas ratio when needed; YET preserves the original artwork and asks before cropping. Missing analytics are not zero. Uncertain publication is checked before any retry.
Connect and test
- Add the YET MCP URL in your compatible assistant:
https://social.notacompanynameyet.com/mcp. - Complete OAuth using your YET account. Never paste social passwords or app secrets into a chat.
- Ask: “List my connected YET accounts. Do not publish anything.”
- Prepare a preview with exact channels, content, local time and timezone.
- Review it, then explicitly approve that preview in chat or click its approval button.
- Check delivery status; revoke assistant access when you no longer need it.
Your data and permissions
Read access covers your channels, brand guidance, queue and cached insights. Publishing access additionally permits media import, preview preparation, approved scheduling and queued-post cancellation. Imported publishing media is publicly accessible. Provider credentials remain on the server. This connector does not access another customer’s workspace or delete published content.
