Delete data
or revoke access.
Pausing publishing, revoking a provider authorization and deleting information held by YET are different actions. This page explains each route.
Stop future scheduled activity
Pause the relevant account and cancel eligible pending posts in Social OS. Pausing stops future publishing activity for that connection; it is not deletion of stored credentials or historical information.
Revoke an AI assistant, including Claude
Open Authorized assistants and revoke the relevant Postroom assistant authorization. You can also remove Postroom from the assistant's connector settings. Removing a connector in Claude and revoking its Postroom authorization are separate controls; revoke in Postroom to stop that grant's further tool access.
Revocation does not cancel existing scheduled posts, delete publishing media or erase data already returned to the assistant provider. Cancel eligible pending posts separately and use the verified deletion process below for Postroom-held information, including selected uploads or your workspace. For information held by Claude, use Anthropic's controls and Privacy Policy. Published social posts must be managed on their destination platform.
Disconnect inside Postroom
Open Accounts, find the connection and choose Disconnect. Disconnect removes the stored credentials for that connection, releases its account allowance and cancels eligible queued posts. An in-progress or uncertain delivery may require resolution first. Published history and native social posts are preserved; request data deletion below if you also want Postroom-held records removed.
Revoke a platform connection
Use the connected platform's app/permissions settings to revoke authorization. Google access can be revoked at Google account connections. Other platforms provide their own connected-app or authorization settings. Revocation can prevent future actions but does not automatically remove YET-held records or posts already published on the platform.
Request deletion from YET
Email privacy@notacompanynameyet.com with the subject “Postroom data deletion”.
- the email used for your workspace;
- the connected platform and account name;
- whether you want one connection, selected uploads or the entire workspace removed.
We verify your authority before acting. Once verified, we stop eligible pending activity and remove the relevant active records, credentials and stored objects through the applicable administrative process. We explain any limited retention required for security or applicable obligations and confirm the outcome through the verified contact channel.
A deletion request to YET does not remove a post already published on Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X, Bluesky or another independently operated platform. Remove that content within the platform itself.
TikTok connection and data removal
- In Postroom, open Accounts, choose your TikTok connection and select Disconnect. Resolve any already-processing or uncertain job before disconnecting if the interface asks you to do so.
- To revoke permission at TikTok as well, open TikTok's Settings and privacy, find the apps/website permissions area and remove the Postroom or YET Postroom authorisation. Labels can vary by app version.
- To remove data still held by Postroom, email the privacy address from your workspace email and identify the TikTok account. Specify profile/connection data, media, reporting history, publishing records or the whole workspace.
We verify ownership, disable eligible future activity and remove the applicable active-system records and files through our administrative process, subject to any limited retention we explain for legal or security obligations. We confirm the outcome by email. Disconnecting or deleting Postroom data does not delete a video already posted to TikTok; manage that video in TikTok.
Facebook, Instagram and Threads data removal
Disconnect the selected account in Postroom, and remove unused comment rules before closing a workspace. Revoke the app in Facebook's Business integrations/apps settings or the relevant Instagram or Threads connected-app permissions settings. The provider may show the application as Postroom or YET Social OS. If a specific revocation control is unavailable, contact us without sending your password.
For Postroom-held Meta data, email the privacy address with your workspace email and the affected Page/profile. Specify account/profile information, comments/messages, rule configuration, reporting records, uploads or workspace closure. A Page/account identifier is helpful but a provider password is never required. We verify authority, stop eligible activity and process the deletion request; published replies and posts must be removed in the native service if you also want them deleted there.
This public page is a data-deletion instructions URL. It is not an API endpoint and must not be entered as a Meta data-deletion callback. A callback requires its own signed-request implementation and confirmation response.
LinkedIn data and authorization
Disconnect the LinkedIn connection in Accounts and cancel eligible pending posts. You may also revoke authorization through LinkedIn permitted services. Pausing a connection is not revocation or a deletion request.
For deletion, email privacy@notacompanynameyet.com from your workspace email. Identify the profile or Page and request deletion of its connection, API-derived profile/engagement data, reporting caches, history or entire workspace. Never send passwords or tokens. We verify account ownership or the client representative's authority, stop eligible collection and process deletion administratively.
Applicable stored LinkedIn Marketing data must be permanently deleted within ten days or less of a verified request, subject to stricter applicable requirements. The same requirement applies when service ends and the data is no longer needed for the client's business need or permitted retention obligations. LinkedIn's shorter category-specific cache and storage limits still apply while the service is active. We confirm completion and explain any permitted retention exception. This is not a claim that disconnect automatically erases every record. Removing Postroom-held data does not remove published LinkedIn posts; remove those separately on LinkedIn.
Google and YouTube data requests
For Google-connected data, identify the YouTube channel or Business Profile location in your deletion request. We delete applicable YouTube user data as soon as possible and within seven calendar days through our verified administrative process. On detected revocation of Google authorization, applicable YouTube API data is deleted as soon as possible and within 30 calendar days. Revocation can also be performed at Google account permissions. Removing data held by Postroom does not remove videos, comments or location posts held by Google; manage those within YouTube or Business Profile.
What deletion can involve
Depending on the request, the operational process can involve workspace/account records, stored authorization credentials, eligible queue records, uploaded media, analytics caches, collected follower history, Smart Links pages and click counters, and relevant history. Provider logs and backups can follow their own retention cycles. We do not represent a database-row deletion as deletion of every independent storage object, credential or third-party copy.
