POSTROOM FOR DEVELOPERS
One workspace. A well-defined tool surface.
Connect an AI client to Postroom’s authenticated MCP server. Keep tenant permissions, exact previews and publishing outcomes clear at every step.
Ideas in.
A reviewed plan out.

Authorization code flow with PKCE S256, dynamic client registration and explicit MCP resource binding. Choose read-only access first. Publishing permission is separate from approval of a specific post.
| Resource | https://social.notacompanynameyet.com/mcp |
|---|---|
| Resource metadata | /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp |
| Issuer | https://social.notacompanynameyet.com/oauth/agent |
| Read scope | social.read |
| Publishing scope | social.write |
| Client registration | Dynamic registration for public clients (token authentication: none); client-ID metadata documents are not supported. |
Provider access tokens stay on the server. Do not place social passwords, service-role keys or shared bearer tokens in client configurations.
Tool reference and constraints

Read tools cover workspace identity, accounts, brand guidance, recent queue records, individual post states, cached analytics and Pinterest boards. Write tools cover trusted media import, scoped image-upload tickets and completion, preview preparation, approved scheduling and cancellation of a queued post. OpenClaw’s bundled uploader handles generated files internally without exposing signed storage URLs.
There is no published-post deletion, cross-customer access or automatic approval endpoint. Missing metrics are unavailable, not zero. Cached analytics may lag the provider.
Acceptance checks for a new client
- Authenticate using your own demo workspace and read-only scope.
- List only its connected accounts and brand guidance.
- Prepare a future sample preview with explicit timezone and channel requirements.
- Confirm that the preview did not create a queue entry.
- For a publishing test, explicitly approve the exact preview, then verify the resulting queue record.
- Cancel only the selected future test post and verify its state.
- Revoke the connection and confirm it can no longer read or write.
Postroom is released on ChatGPT. The OpenClaw plugin and standalone skill are published on ClawHub with Pass security audits; OpenClaw is available for image and caption workflows with explicit publishing approval. See the OpenClaw setup page for the updated 0.1.1 download and native OAuth setup; updated ClawHub registry publication is separate. Hermes admission and security validation passed, with catalog review pending. Google sign-in blocked the installed Gemini CLI extension; Antigravity migration and live OAuth/tool acceptance tests remain pending. Other assistant guides are verification targets, not claims of completed client certification. Microsoft 365 Copilot currently requires a compatible confidential-client authentication flow before tenant testing.
