Postroom Claude and Claude Code setup
Remote MCP setup; client verification pending.
Claude connector
Add a custom remote MCP connector using the existing Postroom MCP URL. Authenticate through OAuth. Availability depends on the Claude plan and client. A setup guide does not establish directory publication.
Claude Code
Run: claude mcp add --transport http postroom https://social.notacompanynameyet.com/mcp . Open /mcp and authenticate. Validate read-only account listing before writing.
Plugin status
A Claude plugin packages connection metadata and skills. Postroom's Claude package and real-client verification are still being developed. Do not reuse the OpenAI ZIP unchanged.
Verify the client after setup
Connect using the current setup guide and first request an account list without publishing. Check tool discovery, OAuth completion and the returned workspace identity. A configuration file loading successfully is not an end-to-end verification result.
Claude versus Claude Code
They are different client interfaces and have distinct brand marks. Use the setup path for the client you actually run. Keep provider secrets out of client configuration and do not treat unverified client examples as demonstrated production functionality.
