Connect and manage channels

Your accounts, authorized by you.

Authorization

Postroom registers the provider application. Customers authorize their own accounts through supported OAuth flows; they do not create developer applications or supply social-network passwords.

Permissions and reconnection

Read the account permission summary. Reconnect when access expires or a feature requires newly approved scopes. Connecting a provider does not automatically grant every metric or publishing format.

Pause and delivery

Account publishing switches control that destination. Inspect already claimed or submitted posts separately. Revoking an assistant does not cancel the existing publishing queue.

A connected account is not a complete permission grant

Inspect Accounts and its details panel after authorization. A returned profile can still lack publishing or reporting scopes. Reconnect to request the current permission set, explicitly approve it with the provider, and then confirm that the selected account appears in the workspace.

Safe reconnect procedure

Check the current destination name and provider before reconnecting. Complete the provider flow, choose returned accounts, and inspect readiness. Reconnecting should renew authorization rather than create duplicate destinations. Do not publish a test until you have checked the selected profile and content.
