Postroom Board-aware Pin creation
Connect and prepare
Select the authorized account; boards should load in the composer. Choose a specific board, enter the title and description, add media and an optional HTTPS destination URL. Never let an assistant guess a board. Standard access is active; account scopes still determine availability.
Review and schedule
Inspect the exact authorized destination, caption, media and time. Platform format and rate limits apply. Use Compose in the website or ask an authenticated assistant for a preview before approving.
Inspect the outcome
Open Publishing report and review the channel receipt. Scheduled and submitted states are not the same as published. Retry only after resolving the actual error and checking for an existing post.
Pin fields required by Postroom
Choose an authorized Pinterest account and a board ID. Supply a title of at most 100 characters, a description of at most 800 characters and an image or supported video. A destination URL is optional and must be a valid HTTP or HTTPS URL without embedded credentials. A text-only Pin is rejected.
A safe assistant request
Ask the assistant to list your Pinterest boards first. Choose the board explicitly, then supply or approve the proposed title and description. If one of these required fields is missing, the assistant must ask before scheduling. A generic multi-platform caption does not identify the correct board.
